ABOUT US

Roundtable Life Skills, a unique initiative driven by necessity and passion, is dedicated to the growth and development of young adults transitioning into adulthood and adults seeking personal and professional advancement.

At Roundtable Life Skills, we are not just a program, we are a community. We are dedicated to nurturing the next generation of leaders, employees, and employers. We understand the pressures and challenges young adults face, and we are here to provide a safe and supportive environment for them to learn and grow. We recognize that teaching these skills to children early on and providing opportunities to practice can make adapting to adulthood easier.

At Roundtable Life Skills, we are passionate about equipping the next generation with the essential skills that employers value. We believe that these skills not only make life easier, but also open doors to exciting opportunities. Through our programs and events, we aim to foster mindfulness, creativity, self-esteem, and critical thinking, empowering young adults to navigate life with confidence.

Club 11 week agenda:

Day 1-2: Time Management: Students will learn how to incorporate personal motivation, delegation skills, and the use of tools to increase their productivity and free time.

Day 3-4: Money Management: Students will learn how to budget an income, open checking and savings accounts, and deal with other financial matters.

Day 5-6: Learning Techniques: Students will understand the importance of reading, writing, and thinking creatively and how necessary they are in everyday life.

Day 7-8: Health/Self-Care, students learn how to take responsibility for their health.

Day 9-10: Students will learn techniques to manage anger and understand the negative impact of expressing anger.

Day 11: Last Day/ Art Show and Certificates.

*Lunch will NOT be provided; we ask that parents prepare and bring lunch for their children.

**Structured class time for life skills training from 830-915am and 1230-115pm.

***After class, students get free art time (each student will be given a sketch pad and 5 (8x10) canvases for painting. We also provide an apron and easel for use and art materials (colored pencils, crayons, #2 pencils, paint, and markers for students. Students can purchase additional sketch pads if needed.
